Federal Prosecutors to Investigate Voting Irregularities

United States Attorney General, The Honourable William Barr

The United States Attorney General, The Honourable William Barr, gave authorisation for federal prosecutors to investigate any, what he called "substantial", allegations of voting irregularities that took place in the US presidential elections. At the same time, he encouraged prosecutors not to pursue "fanciful or far-fetched" complaints.

Meanwhile, President Trump's legal Team have launched a lawsuit with the Pennsylvania federal court to block the official certification of the election results in that state.

The Pennsylvanian State Attorney General, Josh Shapiro called the attempt “another attempt to throw out legal votes” and said “we will protect the laws of our Commonwealth and the will of the people.”
